Family T1 Trip 2011 Part 3

A picture is worth a thousand words...that's what they say right? Well I'm not sure how many words this post will amount to but here you go.

On day 3,4,5 and 6 of our Family Trip we went to...
The Animal Kingdom:
our 1st day at Walt Disney World

First stop to get Cara's Guest Assistant Card

We saw some stuffed animals

and some real animals...Elephants are my most favorite.

This one I thought of the Diabetes Dude, I wish I had Cara's blue flamingo there :) Dusty (who is on his way) would have had a lot of pink friends to play with!!

Some of us caught a little ZZZZZZZ's
Others danced

and we all made new friends

every park has amazing parades that the kids loved to watch

We had a wonderful time at the Animal Kingdom, there was a lot of walking and after a day at this park we decided to rent an additional double stroller (we brought our double stroller from home for Cody and Kirstin) for our visits for all the other parks.  This allowed Cara and Kylie and even sometimes Connor to have a little break.

The guest assistance card was wonderful. Once we entered the park we went to the guest services and told them that Cara had type 1 diabetes they looked on a sheet of paper and gave us that little card that you saw in the above picture.  We really did not have to use the card until the 5th day at the park when the lines were a little bit longer.  It allowed us to move right to the front of the line...that was very nice!!

The Magic Kingdom:

we are here :)

The famous castle

princess Kirstin

princess Kylie

and princess Cara

and of course my little princesses met the Disney princesses

Connor before the transformation

during

and Connor after or should I say Benjamin Gunnskull

we met Cody's most favorite character Jesse
and of course wherever Jesse is Woody is not far behind (does that sound dirty?)

another wonderful parade

we all had a whole lot of fun

Epcot:
of course a pic of the "ball" or whatever that thing is??

YES team work kids...ya, lets all try to break the t.v.  Great lesson!!

these 2 sitting next to each other not hitting or yelling is a miracle in it's own right!

My little China lover Kylie, Kylie LOVES China, she loves their language, their style, their culture...everything!!  When Kylie was a little baby we would wake up in the middle of the night to her babbling in what sounded exactly like Chinese.  We use to joke that she had an old Chinese lady watching over her...who knows?.  She just has and always had a strange connection with China.

Cara was wondering why all the poor little birds at Epcot had broken legs...so cute!

Kirstin and Cara

welcome to America

I just felt like I was the one taking all the pics and if I did not take one of myself there would be none of me!! :)

I really, REALLY need this lady at my house...she refused my invitation :(

amazing fire works and light show

Hollywood Studios:

Kay trying out for American Idol :) she did great and I really can't believe she was brave enough to try.  And no she is not American or 14 years old yet...shhhhhh

We love the toy story!!

The whole fam

all my super hero's

Cara and Kailyn's Eeyore

another wonderful parade

Honey...I'm hiding from my kids :)

Kirstin all packed up

see ya later buddy

we were the very last people to see Woody and Buzz that day.  One of the highlights of my day!!

getting ready for the very best ride EVER :)

These four days were NON STOP.  I would wake up at 6:30am and we would get back to the hotel by 9:30~10:00pm some nights.  Theses were very long days jammed pack with amazingness and some tantrums but I would not trade it for the world.  We did everything, the rides, the parades, the movies...amazing!!

But we are still not done, stay tune for some more Disney stories, an amazing D momma meeting and a wonderful day off.

Looks like a great time was had by all. My favorite is Epcot for sure. I wanna drink beer from around the world someday when the kids are older and I can wander off on my own...with Dave or with friends.
