We HOPE that a cure for type 1 diabetes will be found...
One day there will be no more finger checks, no more pain and no more tears
One day there will be no more measuring food, weighing meals and counting carbs
One day I will be able to sleep through the night
One day Cara will not need injected insulin to keep her alive
One day I will not fear that heart disease, blindness, stroke, kidney and nerve damage to be in Cara's future
One day I will not fear lows and dread highs
One day dead in bed syndrome will not haunt my dreams
One day I will be able to leave the phone on my counter
One day I will look at Cara and tell her they found a cure....all we can do is HOPE!

She is so beautiful. Every time I see that sweet smile, my heart feels happy. A very lovely post!
Sugar Boy was still sleeping when I left the house this morning... I can't wait to get home tonight so we can do our HOPE hands. :)
