This is the alarm clock that is trying to wake up my brain

| This is my daughter Cara who has type 1 diabetes |
She is the reason why the alarm clock is trying to wake up my brain to do a blood sugar check in the middle of the night.
HOWEVER, FOR SOME REASON UNBEKNOWNST TO ME, RECENTLY MY BRAIN IS NOT GETTING THE MESSAGE!

| reenactment of last night. |
It just would not stop and I could not figure out why or what the noise was?!?! as the minutes and peeeeping continued the madder and madder I got...
So I did what any concerned parent of a type 1 would do....I yelled at my husband while tapping the crap out of him to wake up and "Stop that F@CKING noise...NOW!" Once the peace and quiet was restored I went back to sleep!!
WHAT?!?! was there something else that I was suppose to be doing??
NICE, REAL NICE...ehhh?
p.s. Cara's blood sugar was 5.0mmols (90) this morning :) lucky me!!

I'm laughing! This was a fun post! You do as I do. I tap Gregg with, "Do you hear that?! It's the CGM! Jack's low! You need to test him!" We're such good wives, aren't we??!!! :)
Tapping the crap outta him! Haaaaaaa ha love it.
Great story using snapshots.
too funny!
I try to get my husband to wake up (accidently kick him or elbow him) so HE hears the alarm and I pretend to sleep through it :-)
So totally with you...my brain has been sleeping through alarms as of late, too! Guess I'm going to have to change the 'ringtone' on my phone to get my attention!!!
tapping the crap outta him...sounds all too familiar! Hope tonight is very restful!
Try "kicking" him. I find that gets the f-ing noise to stop sooner. :)
Great post!
Yelled at my hubby the other day to turn his darn alarm off (we use our cell phones and set our own alarms but they sit on our nightstands). He wouldn't budge. So, I poked and yelled some more. And he raised up on his elbows and very calmly said, "Amy, it's yours. Do you want me to check Ryan?" Umm. . . I just said yes and rolled over! LOL. Oh, and I've done the same. It happens. Love your artwork!
Oh my gosh..I am cracking up!! I love the pictures...
