Here Is The THING

Here's the thing about this type 1 thing,

It's not a straight forward thing, it's a very involved and complected thing.  
It's not a black and white thing, it's more a Grey thing.
It's a misunderstood thing and a very hard thing to explain. 
It's not just a cute little kids thing it's a people thing.
It's not a common sense thing. 
You must live it to REALLY "Get It" kinda thing.

There are no rules to follow to control this thing.
There is no control with this thing.
It's not a reliable thing.  There is not a "usual" day with this damn thing.

It's not just a morning thing or a daytime thing.
It's not just a meal time thing; although meal times do get a bit more involved with this thing.
It's a 24 hour 7 days a week thing.
It's not a thing you can every forget about, it's a try to ignore me and you'll pay for it thing.
I think it thinks it's your only thing.  
It's a lot of work this type 1 thing.

It's not just a blood sugar thing, it's a whole body thing.
It's a powerful thing, a destructive thing, a hidden terror thing.
It's a bring your worst nightmare to reality thing.

It's not a YOU thing or a HER or a HIM thing...it's an US thing.

It's not a "you handle it" thing it's a WE CAN DO THIS kinda thing!
