Ontario Voters, Change The Face Of Diabetes In Ontario

Make your vote change the face of diabetes in Ontario.

Voter's Guide

The Canadian Diabetes Association regularly meets and consults with patients, family members and healthcare providers from across the country, so that they can provide current and accurate information about the burden of diabetes in Ontario.

Clicking over now, but just want to say that I am THRILLED to see this making it to an election! SO PROUD OF YOU!

Is it me...or was the NDP the only one who answered all the questions... particularly the one about schools?

Step One for my vote (and I'm not Canadian, so it doesn't really matter)...follow directions. You were asked specific questions. Give specific answers.

You are right Wendy!! NDP were the only ones that actually answered all the questions. I like NDP, a lot :)

But I can not take any praise for this the Canadian Diabetes Association has always done a great job supporting our kids in Ontario schools. This is just one example.

I have always liked the NDP and this just proves some of the reasons why. Dalton McGuinty is looking at prevention but there is no prevention for Type 1 and to me it looked like he is saying that Childhood Obesity is the result of Type 1 diabetes. Then Tim Hudak never even answered any of the questions.

This just really confirms where my vote is going to be :)

Totally agree Kelly on ALL counts.

Thanks for your comment!

Thanks for posting this link! I was undecided until I read the answers, but now I will definitely vote NDP, the others just don't seem to have their facts straight.

Nic,

YOU are an awesome leader in the fight for awareness of T1 in schools! But, as a supporter of what you do, and as Vice-Chair of the WWNDP Riding Assoc, I just want to say thanks for putting this out there in a place where parents can see it.

You're the best!

Just stopped back by to check on the convo...and want to say that I am completely inspired to your dedication to advocacy, Nic. Okay, perhaps the CDA had A LOT to do with this legislation, but success will ultimately come because of dedicated citizens (including parents) like YOU!!!
