48 Questions: Getting to Know Me, Nicole

 DSMA suggested the DOC get to know each other better by answering these 48 questions. After seeing Meri from Our Diabetic Life and Kathy from Bigfoot Child Have Diabetes doing it, I wanted to do it too! I'm a bit of a follower... 

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?

Nope, I don't think so?  However, I have an older 2nd cousin named Nicole and growing up she was BIG Nicole and I was little Nicole :)

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?

A few days ago.  I DVR Parenthood because my husband doesn't like to watch it with me.  The kids were gone to school, my husband was at work and I was done my "chores" so I watched 3 episodes and cried and cried and cried...happy and sad tears, I love/hate that show!

3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?

NOOO, HATE IT!! I make my husband fill out forms or write the teacher notes, that is how much I hate it!

4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT?

Turkey 

5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS?

Ha,ha,ha YEP! Sure do...6!! Four girls and 2 boys

6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON, WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU?

For sure, 100%...I'm a party!!

7. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT?

Depends on who I'm talking to. For the most part...Ah, ya!

8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS?

Yep and is it weird that I'm proud of that fact?!?!

9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?

Yes (remember... Par-TAY, right here!)  however it would be more like bungee falling because someone would have to literally push me off the ledge, no way I would be able to JUMP!

 

10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

 

11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF?

Nope, but I do untie them when I putting them on.

Yes, I can kick your ass...if that is what you're asking!  And I WILL if you mess with my kids.

13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM?

New York Cherry Cheese Cake

14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE?

Maybe, their teeth?

Pink

16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF?

I'm dyslexic and I would be such an awesomer me without it; so being dyslexic, least favorite thing!

17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST?

My pets that have passed, I guess? They just don't live long enough :(

18. WHAT IS THE TECHNIQUE THAT YOU NEED TO WORK ON THE MOST?

reading, spelling and grammar...I'm serious, see #16.  

 

19. WHAT COLOR SHOES ARE YOU WEARING?

No shoes allowed in the house!  I'm wearing light grey socks with red, pink, orange and dark grey stripes.
 

20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE?

A bowl of Honey-Combs and milk.

21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW?

Jimmy Two Shoes on the t.v. and Wow Wow Wubbzy (Nick Jr) on the computer.

22. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE?

 Purple...it's fun!

23. FAVORITE SMELLS?

The smell of baking.

24. HOW IMPORTANT ARE YOUR POLITICAL VIEWS TO YOU?

Not very, they screw everything up anyways...

25. MOUNTAIN HIDEAWAY OR BEACH HOUSE?

Mountain Hideaway = perfection!

26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH?

Ok, so, my husband and I started sport betting with Pro-line and I so enjoyed watching football and cheering for MY picks. Side note: My husband actually got a perfect card once, unfortunately so did like thousands of others and his split was about $260.

27. HAIR COLOR?

Dark brown with every growing highlights of grey...just beautiful! ;)

28. EYE COLOR?

brownish

29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS?

Nope, but I do have glasses.  I only wear them for driving or in situation that I want to see from a far distance.

30. FAVORITE FOOD?

Oh, this is a tough one, I love to eat and I love food...I guess I would say anything pasta and cheesy.

 

31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS?

I'm very "complex"when it comes to movies.  I don't watch anything haunting because I believe in ghosts and hauntings, I can't watch anything were dogs die (too sad) or children are kidnapped (too much anxiety) I HATE B.S. drama's (eye roll).  I'm going with action, suspense with a dose of happy endings.

  

32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED?

Chronicles? I think that is what it was called? I'm not much for going to the theater, a lot of our movies are off of Netflix.
 

33. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING?

Do you mean colour? (hehehe Canadian humour, hehehe and did it again!!) it's GREY

34. SUMMER OR WINTER?

Summer, a few years ago I would have said winter.

35. FAVORITE DESSERT?

dessert...any kind!

36. STRENGTH TRAINING OR CARDIO?

Cardio! and I'm working hard on trying to get my fat ass out there to do some.

37. COMPUTER OR TELEVISION?

Computer, it's where my friends are.

38. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW?

Awe, now you're making me feel bad :( I'm not reading a book right now. BUT it is on my list of things to do in order to better myself just like #36.

39. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD?

no mouse pad, laptop.

40. FAVORITE SOUND?

Nothing is better then the sound of a laughing baby.

41. FAVORITE GENRE OF MUSIC?

Dance music, I love to dance.

42. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME?

 Las Vegas 

43. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT?

Not really?? Again with the making me feel bad :( WTH?

46. WHAT COLOR IS YOUR HOUSE?

 This questions makes me smile because my house is GOLD right now, like crazy gold and wallpaper everywhere even on the ceilings.  That is going to change very soon! I have to get painting.

47. WHAT COLOR IS YOUR CAR?

I have 6 kids, I don't have a car...our "bus" is white.

48. DO YOU LIKE ANSWERING 48 QUESTIONS?

Yes, it was fun. I would have stopped half way if I did not like it.
